We were checking out the fishing report for last week on FishermansPost.com and it looks like action is heating up around Wrightsville Beach. Arlen, of Tex’s Tackle (on Eastwood Road), reported that flounder bites has increased inshore and around the inlets and red drum have been active around the Masonboro jetties.
The report went on to say that spanish mackerel fishing has slowed down while king mackeral bite has been strong in the 10-20+ mile range.
