If you’re a lover of live, local music – and especially FREE live, local music OUTDOORS – then you’re in luck because the Mayfaire Music on the Town Concert Series kicks off tonight, May 6th, 2011, with Soul Power Posse.
Mayfaire Town Center is located at off of Military Cutoff Rd. close to the intersection of Eastwood Rd. near Wrightsville Beach, NC. Mayfaire is a delightful mix of retail shopping, dining, and entertainment. The Music on the Town Concert Series started a few years back and has become a huge Friday night hit with the after-work crowd, families, and groups of friends gathering for a casual picnic atmosphere complete with great live music. It’s the ideal way to start off the weekend.
The Mayfaire Concert Series kicks off tonight and takes place each Friday night from now until July 29th, with a special performance this year on September 2nd. Some of the bands this summer include Jim Quick & the Coastline Band, Blind Lemon Pledge, Jam Sandwich, and the M-80’s among many others.
