Junior Achievement (JA) of the Cape Fear Region is an organization that brings business education to our local schools. Volunteers from the business community work with organizers and teachers to deliver hands-on programs that teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to young students – starting in Kindergarten!
JA is currently conducting a fundraiser raffle for a week-long stay at a Wrightsville Beach Oceanfront House. The house is being donated for the week by the owner (with no connection to HHW) and we thought this could be a great chance for families and friends to experience the beauty of Wrightsville Beach while donating to a great cause!
The drawing for the raffle will be this Friday, 3/18/11. The cost of the tickets is $10 for 1 ticket or $25 for three. The oceanfront house is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with great amenities including off-street parking for 4 vehicles. The house is available during selected weeks between September 15th and April 15th (except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter).
