Banks Channel Swim Advisory Lifted – Get Your Trunks On

Lumina News reported that the swimming advisory for Banks Channel that was put into place two weeks ago (between Snyder and Seashore Streets) was lifted by the Division of Environmental Health as bacteria levels are back in line with the EPA’s standards for safe swimming and water play. And with temperatures projected in the 90’s all week, a dip into Bank Channel may be in order.

You can find out about Wrightsville Beach beach access points on the Town’s web site including which ones have public restroom access. No matter where you decide set your beach umbrella this weekend, be sure to pack the sunscreen.
