Airlie Gardens Concert Series Kicks Off May 6th, 2011

first time home buyers2 The Airlie Garden Concert Series kicks off tonight, May 6th, 2011 with music by The Wilmington Big Band. Airlie Gardens is a New Hanover County facility on Airlie Rd. close to Wrightsville Beach, NC. These gorgeous, historic gardens are the backdrop for an evening of live, local music with family, friends, and community.

The Airlie Gardens Concert Series begins May 6th and continues every other Friday night throughout the summer. Bands performing in the series include L Shape Lot, Da Howlies, Stardust, and The Imitations.

Concerts take place from 6pm – 8pm with on-site parking for Dogwood, Rose, Magnolia, and Azalea members of Airlie Gardens and free off-site parking in the lot adjacent to Tidal Creek Coop on Oleander Drive. This off-site parking feature allows concert-goers to ride a trolley to the Gardens which is especially fun for the kids. It also eases pressure and increases safety with parking. Tickets for the concerts are are $8 for adults, $2 for children, and free for Airlie members.
