Wrightsville Beach loves playing host to the Reef/Sweetwater Pro-Am Surf Fest, one of the largest surf contests on the east coast. We’ve done it for the last 6 years and we’re doing it again this year! The schedule for this awesome surf competition is Friday, July 15 starting at 8am at Oceanic Street through Sunday, July 17, 2011.
Some of the world’s best professional and amateur surfers ride the waves in our very own backyard. It’s a blast to catch the excitement, get inspired, and see what these guys and girls can do.
Plus, this year they’ve added a Music and Art Festival on Saturday, July 16th from 4 pm until 9:30pm at the Wrightsville Beach Outdoor Park. The bands playing will be Selah Dubb, Fuzz and Mac, Rob Machado & Jon Swift. Featured artists are Mike Losness, Sean Ruttkay, Jenn Butler, and other local artists.
