4th of July in Wrightsville Beach, NC

A great thing about celebrating the long 4th of July weekend in Wrightsville Beach is that you can take in both the Wilmington Battleship Blast Fireworks, North Carolina’s largest choreographed fireworks display, and even see the Fireworks display taking place all the way down in Southport. Avoid the crowds, head outside, look up, and enjoy! Fireworks are illegal in Wrightsville Beach but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the nearby displays.

The 4th of July is such a mid-summer celebration in Wrightsville Beach. The days are hot and long, the water is warm, the waves are just right, boats are cruising the Intracoastal, and everywhere people are enjoying summer. Here at the beach, we can truly beat the heat – and even enjoy it!

A vacation in Wrightsville Beach for the 4th of July is a wonderful way to celebrate such a fun, festive, and patriotic holiday.
