The Wrightsville Beach Wahine Classic is an annual celebration of our female surfers of every age and ability. Co-hosted by Jo Pickett of Crystal South Surf Camp and Jack Viorel of IndoJax Surf School, the surfing event features amateur to pro levels in the following divisions:
- Pro Shortboard and Pro Longboard, open to all ages
- Amateur shortboard and longboard, grouped by age
- Novice category, open to all ages competing in their FIRST contest
- Stand Up Paddleboard (a NEW division!)
- Guppy event, a crowd favorite to complete the competition
The event is scheduled for August 17 and 18, 2013 with an event banquet on Saturday night, August 17.
Prizes will be awarded to ALL Amateur Finalists. Pro Finalists will receive a cash purse.
